Boutique Hotels in 8th Arrondissement

Mixed bag review for this hotel! The good: definitely location a good walk to all the attractions and located in a beautiful part of Paris. Breakfast was great, fresh, plentiful with warm friendly staff. Not so good: the room which was a superior was tired and scruffy, cracked plasterwork in the bathroom, shower looked like it needed a deep clean and the bedroom floors just looked dirty! Bedside table had finger prints all over (not ours!!). Bed was ok, considering the hotel advertised soundproofing I could hear the toilet in the room above flushing and the noise from people in the corridor was a constant nightly disturbance. Finally! All the staff were friendly with the exception of one mature reception man who was just rude, when I asked for assistance with an Uber location. Attempted to assist when he realised I was offended by his attitude but the negative impression was already made.

Everything was excellent, staff very attentive, food was very good room looked like a Parisian apartment… no complaints, our airport transfers were on time and very professional, Thank you all Best regards Maria Pia Monaco
