Waco weekend

Very nice hotel! The indoor pool and hot tub were well maintained and had plenty of towels. The gym was 24 hours which is convenient. A quiet room with a door that separated the beds from the living area was an extra bonus. The black out curtains and nice mattresses made for a very confortable sleep. The staff was friendly and the cocktails at the hotel bar were well made. The complimentary breakfast was nice and had a good variety. Only detractors would be that the microwave could have been cleaner. It hadn't been cleaned from previous stays and the fridge was left on the 'off' setting so it had a smell of parmesan cheese to it. The fact that you need an app to access the wifi and the wifi hook up itself was another difficulty. However, overall it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. A great value for the price and I would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Great place but watch for housekeeping

Great place. Clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the typical hotel stuff. I especially liked that the suites had an extra sink area outside of the bathroom. Only complaint is that housekeeping came by knocking on doors around 9am and would enter rooms if no one answered. I was going to go downstairs while my teenage son was in the shower. Thankfully I got delayed for a few minutes or housekeeping would have come in the room on him. Does housekeeping not have a better way to know who checks out??

This was a little trip for my daughters birthday. The whole reason we even stayed in a hotel was the indoor pool, which you had. But the chlorine was unbearable. It immediately started to affect our eyes, but we tried to tough it out. But after about 15 minutes, it started to affect our breathing. We could feel it in our lungs. It made to entire trip pointless.

Beautiful hotel when we got in there's a huge aquarium with some exotic fish which was pretty cool. Got to say the rooms are big and the pool is heated which is awesome.

Meh!

Rooms are large and service is decent. Beyond that, the hotel leaves much to be desired. We were placed by the stairs. This is not normally an issue, but in these rooms, the noise is unbelievable. Further, the internet is not "free". Rather, you have to enroll for a "loyalty" account. Then you are asked if you want "normal" (i.e. painfully slow) internet or rather a paid speed at $5.99/day. I chose free wi-fi and wasn't able to get more than a few mbps. I was not able to do anything the evening of my stay and while it improved the next day, it was still noticeably slow. Finally, the breakfast is TERRIBLE! The sausage biscuits are something my dog would not eat. I had to wait 15 minutes to find someone who could get me syrup for my waffle. Coffee had a burnt flavor. I won't be staying at this hotel again. There are just too many other decent offerings in Waco area.

We visit out grandchildren often in Waco and have been trying out different hotels. This is the best value priced one we have found. The rooms are clean and spacious. The pool was fantastic. Breakfast was what you would expect but the seating area was very comfortable, you didn’t feel rushed. We will definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff

Staff was super friendly and room was spacious. The temperature was a little hard to regulate but it could have been the time of year. There were small blood stains on the wall, carpet and on a tray on the ottoman. Hopefully a nose bleed. If I would have noticed sooner I would have asked to change rooms. I will probably stay here again though. It is convenient to family and local attractions.
