Terribly Disappointed–Avoid if You're Looking for

We were incredibly disappointed with our stay at this hotel and I feel it's important to warn other families before booking here. From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were rude and unpleasant. We were asked to authorize a $250 hold on our credit card, on top of the $330 room already fully paid—over 50% of the total cost! We've stayed in many hotels before and never encountered such a high deposit. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were conveniently told they were "in a meeting"... of course 🙄. The elevators are painfully slow—honestly, it's faster to take the stairs. The pool closes way too early (9:00 PM), which is a big letdown when traveling with kids. Most hotels allow access until 10 or even 11 PM. The balcony is a joke. It’s basically a ledge, not a real balcony, and clearly not safe—the flooring is damaged with gaps at the joints. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. Inside the room, the ventilation was extremely loud, with a weird hissing or leaking-air sound every couple of minutes that made it hard to sleep. To make things worse, the curtains were broken and didn’t close properly, so we were all awake at 5 AM with the sunlight coming in. The TV didn’t connect to the internet, and although someone was sent to "fix" it, they couldn’t resolve the issue. We were finally offered a room change... at 10 PM. Not exactly helpful. If you’re looking to enjoy your vacation, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Excellent hôtel. Propre, rénové. Le seul point négatif est le stationnement payant. Il y avait de la circulation entre le centre-ville de Toronto et l’hôtel (environ 45 minutes).

The property at one was very spectacular but now it just needs a refresh but the property still presents very well. We were supposed to have our breakfast included but it didn't happen. Maybe miscommunication between the hotel and Expedia.

Staff were very polite. Although, I wasn’t asked for my vehicle plate. Once I discovered there is a CAA discount and parking fee waived - I had to tell the front desk and show my CAA card so I wouldn’t be charged. The pool is really hard to find but the view from the breakfast area is amazing. If you get a complementary breakfast the menu is fixed but there is more availability (pancakes and waffles) if you pay out of pocket. I was happy with the bed and room temp. The breakfast Benedict was very good - including a veggie option.

A little pricey for what you get

The hotel was great - some of the things in the washroom were a little dated and could be upgraded, the balcony was essentially falling apart and you could see rebar in some parts. Would never set foot on it. The elevators are extremely slow and it took us nearly half an hour to go from the 14th floor to the Lobby with our luggage. Staff were fantastic though

Great stay overall I have stayed here 6 times in the past 3 years mostly for work. This trip was with family and the property needs some upgrades and repairs the vent in the bathroom was very dusty and 1 elevator was not functioning causing some delays. I would stay here again.
