The hotel is situated in a nice area that is close to various food vendors and attractions. The check in process needs a rework. Arrived and told we can pay more to check into a premium room. We declined then received a text 20mins later that our room was ready. An unnecessary annoyance that could be avoided.

The property was well maintained in the common area and the staff were great. It is very close to Prince of Wales Theatre. The room was clean enough but beds were worn out and impossible to sleep on. The sheets were not acceptable. The bottom sheet was too small and came loose they put a sheet under and over the duvet instead of a duvet cover and it was very uncomfortable. The washroom had zero counter top. To get ready I had to close toilet lid to have a place to put toiletries. We upgraded to a room on 19th floor with 2 queen beds. There is no city view. New high rise building surround the property. We had to keep curtains closed because of activity in building across the street. In a room with 2 queen beds I would expect that 2 people should be able to get ready for the day. There were no other mirrors in the room so only one person could get ready at a time and only 1 person only could fit in washroom. I normally stay at Marriott which is a far superior hotel but because of construction in front of the Marriott we made the mistake of staying here. I do not recommend this hotel. Outrageous price for subpar quality.
