Very convenient for Union station. Staff all helpful but long waits at reception on arrival & departure. Dining area too noisy so had to go out to eat at fast food cafe in station as didn’t want to travel far in dark. Room much smaller than expected but facilities adequate

I love this hotel because I arrived by train, then walked across the street to the hotel. Very convenient hotel. My only problem with this hotel is that they out-smart themselves when making a Bloody Caesar. This hotel does NOT use Motts Clamato Juice in their Bloody Caesar drinks. Motts Clamato is the original recipe for this drink and NOT the "Watters" brand of awful-tasting juice. Yes, stay at this hotel, but don't order a bloody Caesar drink here. Go one block east on Front St to The Bottom Line bar for your bloody Caesar instead.

We really enjoyed our stay every staff member encountered said hello. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and offered to make our stay more comfortable. I was very impressed, working in high end service myself I thought talented and committed service professionals had all been phased out. Just go to the Royal York, they work there or in my specialized feild of service!
