This was a new for me! The pod experience. I had seen it advertised as so and wasn’t quite what I expected! I actually thought would be a small room with your own door but was like sections in a wall closed off with black curtains! Still sort of worked though and makes sense for a budget & short term hotel. Probably more hostel like without the group bunk room feel. Communal area, open dinning area and kitchen, separate gender toilets and showers, all clean/well kept. Towels, washing machine and dishwasher available. Quiet room for studying and working. Really decent layout for a small space. Cons: the pods are not sound proof so you can hear people come and go though it is signed as quiet space and everyone was considerate of one another. You do hear every shuffle and snoring! I would have also preferred a separate male and female section? (It may have been but I did check in quite late so area I was in may have been only female). Overall good experience for a 1 night stay.

The hostel is very clean and the sleeping area comfortable and quiet. I was surprised that there was no ceiling (open air pods), which meant you could see lights and hear noises. Overall, a great affordable option.

The check in process was great. The set up to keep your items secure is a bit lacking. There is only a small desk drawer that has a key, but if you have a large bag it stays in a common area. Overall, a pleasant stay. Easily walkable area. Polite staff. I would stay again.
