Not so good experience staying at this place. I wonder how Expedia selects the hotels and advertise them on their website.
This so called hotel has a terrible customer service. The front desk staff doesn’t even know what the customer service is. Especially at check in when the front desk agent was signing me in he started to chat with some entitled person who simply jumped in by cutting the line during check in process. I was not even able to ask some basic questions. Front desk person simply threw the keys at me and kept talking to the entitled person.
I booked this place for 2 nights. First night was somewhat clean but the next night they did not even touched anything and simply swapped towels even though it was per night rent and the second night was even more expensive. When I complained about it at front desk he assured me that they will do something about it and let me know, but as expected worst customer service he did not left any feedback or comments on my complaint at the time when I was checking out.
This hotel is a terrible place to stay. There is no greetings and all the employees working there has very spot expressionless faces all the time.
This building feels like 18th century all stained. Bath tubs feels like it was plugged for several years and they just fixed it leaving there dark stains. Toilets are very old and so tiny feels like for babies.
I would never ever go there again and will definitely let my friends circle never use Monte Carlo Inn.
