Absolute poor decision booking this place. I’ve booked many hotels, but this is a definite no for me in the future. Horrible communication from the apartment representative. After arriving at a “meeting place”, in front of a restaurant, no one was there to meet me as promised. After being told numerous times someone was coming down to meet me, I left after 1 hour of waiting. Again a definite 1000% no booking with this company for any stay. They would not refund my money until Expedia got involved.

Terrible Check in

Absolutely convoluted and confusing check in process with global stay. First they require you to send in identification documents via unsecured email, claiming there is no one to check in at the building. Then the process is duplicated on arrival at the front desk, where you have to check in on a iPad and enter all the same information. The directions to access the building are unclear. Customer service representatives are unhelpful via phone.

Excellent location for exploring Toronto! And loved having access to a full kitchen. The property and the room was ok but really needs a refresh. If you are there in the summer, know that the a/c in the building is capped at 22.5 degrees celsius

Extremely disappointing. The bathroom was tiny, outdated and filthy. The bed, mattress and sheets felt like they were from a bargain basement or dorm room. The refrigerator was disgusting. Extremely tiny. There were no basic amenities like bottles of water or coffee. And the parking and check-in process were quite frustrating, even including the detailed instructions received. For such bad quality, the cost was absolutely ridiculous. Stay anywhere else in the area and you will have a better room.

Poor communication efforts by the Global Stay staff. Condo was clean and great location, but extremely basic budget furniture. Bed was very very Springy and pillow could use replacing. We ended up having to buy our own toilet paper, as they only left us 1 roll for a 7 day stay. Tried to reach staff for additional supplies but. No luck

We had a wonderful time here. The place was exactly what we needed. It was clean, it smelled good and everything was very neat. We only stayed for one night so we didn’t need to use the shower, the washer/dryer or the kitchen but it was very nice to have anyway. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was perfect. We were on the 30th floor and we were very happy that it wasn’t too high. The view was absolutely incredible. We could see the CN Tower, Rogers Centre and all of downtown. It was beautiful. I seriously think we had the best room. The location of this place is unbeatable. We were at walking distance of everything we needed which made our trip so easy. Checking in and out was easy. We had to communicate quite a bit to get everything set up but it went very well and smooth. The indoor parking was great too. All in all we had a wonderful stay here and I would definitely stay here again.

DO NOT STAY WITH GLOBALSTAY INC The moment we checked in we realized the room was really hot. The temperature was 75 degrees. We set the temperature at 65 degrees. We left the room for approximately 4 hours. We returned and the temperature was 76. We realized immediately the AC unit was not working properly. We had trouble sleeping at night. I did contact the front desk and they said they will forward the message to the manager. I called for 3 days non stop and finally a maintenance worker was sent to check. He said AC is working. Yes i agree AC is working but it is not cooling. I asked to change room or give us discount for inconvenience. We stayed there 5 days without getting any feedback. Worse experience ever. Crappy service. No communication

The property is in a great location, now comes the but.. The floor was filthy, one of the beds were full of hair. The Air conditioner could barely keep up, no toaster no face cloths, no tea towels, the door in 1 bedroom is smashed in, the glass ontop of the kitchen fan is shattered and not cleaned up. There was no outdoor furniture on the deck, the blinds in 2 bedrooms were missing slats, fridge barely works, no dishwasher tabs or cleaner, no dishsoap,I could go on but why. I think whoever owns this unit wants premium rent, for minimum work. Lets just say, its too bad this unit is so poorly cared for.

Excellent communication, location is exceptional, our unit was facing the CN tower and nice city view, but looks like they lack of someone to maintain the place properly, carpets were stained, bedding need to be updated, one of the air conditioners was not working, we reported it but never fixed. They offer parking at fair price.

Great ---- but windows

Overall great stay it was enjoyable as it was close to everything welll placed condo. Beds where somewhat comfortable, pillows not the best i have had. the thing that for me was not very pretty was how filty the windows of the whole building where so the view was obstucted by these really dirty windows. But i understand we are downtown Toronto. But it showed that the windows had not been cleaned for a long time.

The location was incredible, I would stay here over-and-over again. Not only was the location great but the unit itself was beautiful! My only complaint was the AC. I couldn't get the AC to drop lower than 22.5 which in the heat we were in was not cool enough. Other than that, our stay was perfect. I have already recommended it to others for their visit.

convenient location and walkable distance for a lot of things to do, grocery store is across the street and is great. The suite itself was meh. TV remote didn’t have batteries, no extra garbage bags, limited toilet paper, the garbage shoots do not work ever, the air conditioning in the unit was useless which made sleeping nearly impossible. Would possibly try again based off location itself, but if there was other options would defiently try it first. Front desk agents were rude. Elevators were down when needed and very busy always. Would hate to live here permanently. The address they give you to go to is located at a resturant , when you get there they have no clue what you are talking about. That was never communicated to us, so we spent nearly an hour walking around waiting to find where to go. Bad communication .

Spent 1.5 hours trying to get into the room. Instructions got us to the lobby elevators, but could not get the elevators to take us to the 32nd floor despite multiple attempts and phone calls to GlobalStay. The elevators were very busy, which may have kept us from accessing the right elevator at the right time.

The view, the space, and the options for food, groceries, and activities were perfect. The only negatives was some preliminary confusion on the location of the property and only 1 key fob for a big group. Otherwise, the staff was easy to communicate with and a great help, and the priority was fantastic.

This property was at best, mediocre. The floors were not clean. We ended up wearing our shoes inside because our feet and socks were getting filthy, and the floors were sticky in spots. The shower drain in the main bathroom was so clogged that we had to turn the water off while we showered so that we weren't up to our ankles in water by the end of the shower. We ended up showing in the other bathroom because it was so bad. Also, there were dead batteries in the tv remote that e replaced ourselves. This is my second time renting with Global Stay and my second time being disappointed.
