The resort is absolutely amazing! So big got lost a lot! A lot of workers were nice except for the dolphin experience. The trainers we great the people inside were absolutely terrible. Not nice would not work with us. We are still waiting for our 5 pics we paid $111for!!!!

To much hotel for the service you get there

The food is too expensive two chicken salad at the casino restaurant $75 ,in reality is to much money for the food and quality is not 5 start ,the other thing is the service is so far with the quality of the hotel is terrible,they get mad if you give extra tips on top the 15% already included,the hotel still is beautiful but the service is not good

DO NOT GO HERE Hotel is very outdated - our bathtub was old and chipped , needed a new paint or replaced or something - there was mold all over the bathtub and bathroom - holes were covered by electrical face plates - extremely over price for and dinning, to be exact , each meal will cost you around $100 per person and the quality is just really bad - the buffet is smelly and doesn’t have a lot of options available- you have to pay %15 tip for everything you buy or eat +10% tax - it’s already included and the staff expect you to pay more - if you go to a restaurant I understand you have to pay tax and tip but then the staff have terrible attitude very unfriendly - it’s like you are bothering them by being in the restaurant. As soon as you get to your floor by the elevator the smell is the first thing you notice - smell really bad like sweat and mold. If you pay over $600 a night and $100 per meal per person - this is not what you expect - it’s as good as a $20/night motel. I have lot of pictures that is unbelievable so don’t waist your money on this very old, outdated and unfriendly hotel.

The resort was very clean. Many options for dining, make sure you make your reservations online so you don’t have to wait. Events like the magic show were super fun and entertaining. The pools weren’t too crowded, you can easily find spots to sit. The beaches were absolutely stunning and clean. Our room was upgraded and had an ocean view, it was cleaned daily with no issues. I will definitely be back!

What a nice hotel Royal Atlantis is. It’s beautiful beaches, water front, marine life display, and shows. I would love to stay here again. I am giving all start to Management. One more recommendation to add Expedia customers for free shuttle from Airport and drop off to Airport. Thx

This is the 2nd time to Atlantis. The 1st time we stayed in the cove. This time at the royal. There is tons to do. Lots of different types of restaurants and the grounds are hug with tons to walk through. The people are really nice and the beach has perfect sand and warm water. We are picky eaters so eating on vacation is tough for us. But we found several places we liked to eat and drink, we won a few bucks at the casino which is a bonus and we would definitely come back for a 3rd time. Would recommend and will return.

The Royal was clean, fun, and ideal for our birthday trip. The staff at Fish Restaurant (Kendrick), the Chop Stix and Front Desk (Owan) were attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. The water park was fun and the slides were amusing. I especially appreciated the shark enclosure and the many spaces for the turtles and rays to cohabitate and be. The facilities were clean and neat. I wouldn’t recommend Atlantis for a family vacation. It’s extremely overpriced for what you get—the water park is outdated, poorly maintained, and even unsafe in some areas. Staff are unfriendly and unhelpful, and service across the resort is consistently disappointing. We paid extra for experiences like the dolphin encounter, which turned out to be a complete letdown—no real interaction, terrible quality photos, and no value for the high price. Even basic food and drinks are overpriced, with mandatory gratuities added to everything, and hospitality is essentially nonexistent. If you’re set on visiting the Bahamas, consider trying Baha Mar instead. While the overall culture of service in the Bahamas isn’t great, we found that outside Atlantis, things are slightly better, and Baha Mar felt more organized and guest-friendly. And if you’ve already paid for your trip to the Bahamas, absolutely book any dolphin experiences outside of Atlantis. Not only are they significantly cheaper, but you’ll get to actually interact with the animals, have a much more enjoyable experience, and receive dozens of great photos and videos. We booked with Blue Lagoon and paid much less than Atlantis, but got real quality time with dolphins and over 70 photos plus a video—all focused just on our family. In short, skip Atlantis if you’re looking for a truly special family experience. There are much better options out there.
