Staff was pleasant. Some food was delicious, some items were not worth the price. All of the pools were filled with kids and the only adult pool for grand Hyatt guests had to be paid for to be at. The resort should have one pool that kids are not allowed to swim that is included in the stay. Beautiful resort.

We have been a few times with our daughter, going back as a couples trip in March. We love it every time we stay there, grounds are beautiful, rooms are very clean and modern.

This is a beautiful and clean hotel. Also sits on a beautiful stretch of beach. If you stay here, be prepared for crowds; the pool area, beach, etc. Maybe because it's January and many people are trying to escape from the cold(like me), or perhaps it's like this all the time. Not sure. So many children and families with infants and toddlers. So, if you're looking for more of a relaxing vibe, I would probably choose a different hotel. Be prepared for INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE FOOD if you're eating here. Even the food trucks on the beach were expensive, and the food was just average. We took a taxi into downtown Nassau a couple a times because we wanted to eat Bahamian food(which you will not find in the restaurants in the hotel). Taxi's were a minimun $25.00 each way, but a least you can get off of the property if you don't have a rental car. This seems to be a great hotel for families(especially with children). Shout out to Shuang Ba(one of the restaurants). The food was delicious.

Bedrooms were nice, hotel was clean, pool area area was beautiful, however, the service at fine dining was seriously lacking for the prices. Additionally, the cigar bar suffered the same fate of Service. At these price points, Service needs to be impeccable. We should not have to look for our waiters for 20 minutes or find a waitress at the cigar bar for a lighter that takes 35 minutes. It didn’t just happen one night we stayed there for a week and it was repetitive theme.

This is a mega resort . I’ve no idea how many rooms There are , but the GHBM is one of three hotels feeding into the pools and beach and casino and restaurants . We stayed during an offer where under 5s eat for free and discounts for longer stays . It was rammed , noisy , and not always with polite guests . I was surprised that non guests could also use the pools , the beach and take towels . If you can get a seat at the beach/ pool well done . The free ones go early . Then you have to pay - $32 US for a padded lounger . And the cabanas run into the hundreds . The rooms are spacious , for sure . There is a plethora of eating choices . With less people it could have been great . But it was like Disney - non stop crowds and people pushing and long lines to eat. Loved the room, loved the colour of the seas . Loved the choices . But just very very crowded and very very noisy and I left with a need for peace !

room was clean, in general staff was extremely friendly. Certain members of the staff were outstanding.. Dante at Marcus, Charlie at Palms bar. Only negative was the volume of children in all locations (Pool, dining, casino) who were poorly behaved and parents ignoring them.
