Property is huge, very beautiful and clean, very expensive and staff is standoffish. For the prices they charge the service should be much better. None of the activities are included, everything is overpriced, even more than at the US.

The service was horrible. Our toilet was broken for almost 2 days. We all got sick at the buffet and called the front desk to ask for a refund. They were rude and said that we needed to see a doctor and get tested before any refund would be given?! The beach was beautiful but over crowded and vendors were pushy about selling their goods. The casino was loud. We did book a cooking class at the hotel. That was amazing but the front desk again had no clue or information to tell me where it was or what time it was. I did book it before our vacation. They told me to come back later I did and again no one was able to help me my kids and I had to walk around the hotel to find out where the cooking class was by asking for help. Long story short I do love the Hyatt, but not this location. We will not be back very disappointed. I reported to the front desk and asked to talk to the manager about how our toilet was broken how we didn’t have body soap for two days. It was just one thing after another. They could’ve cared less.

Great Family Vacation

It is Very Expensive, but we really loved it!!!! Staff overall ok, they were not so thrilled to help/assist turists. Recommended but just a heads up, save a budget $2,500-$2,800 for a family of 4 just in food inside the hotel, if you decide to book an excursion it is way more expensive. Great hotel if you are ready to expend your money.

If you like paying extra for everything including chairs you already paid to sit on, lower your expectations. If you expect excellent customer service, lower your expectations. If you like amazing vacations, please stay at the Atlantis. I had the worst experience of my life at this extremely expensive hotel. I am so incredibly disappointed and expected much more from the Hyatt and SLS. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. I would prefer to never go on vacation again than stay here. And that’s saying a lot since vacations are what I live for. Their predatory practices are unacceptable. I will be telling anyone who listens to go to any other hotel.

We recently stayed at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in the Bahamas. The resort is stunning—very clean, beautifully maintained, and with a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the property itself feels luxurious and well-kept. However, there are a few things future travelers should know. Restaurant reservations need to be made well in advance, and there’s a $100 cancellation fee, which can be inconvenient. Dining here is very expensive—one dinner for two with just two cocktails cost nearly $450. Excursions were also priced quite high, ranging from $400 per person up to $3,000, even for similar tours we did last year at Atlantis for much less. It’s hard to tell if this is due to the resort itself or just rising costs in general, but it’s definitely something to budget for. Overall, it’s a beautiful and relaxing resort with excellent service, but travelers should be prepared for premium pricing on almost everything.
