The building and facilities are a little old, but it's a perfectly fine hotel. Check-in is done via touch panel, so it's manageable even if you don't speak Japanese. It's less than a 10-minute walk from the station, and there are discount stores nearby, making it very convenient. The only thing that bothered me was that there were no tissues in the room.

I love suburban neighborhood. Every time I stay in Tokyo, I visit new neighborhoods. It’s fun to walk along the river and see all the little cafés and coffee shops. It’s quite a change from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya and Shinjuku. It’s nice that they have Onsen with a sauna. The staff were very nice and helpful.

We had a really nice day. The staff was polite and efficient, the room was comfortable, if a little dark. The downstairs breakfast could have been a bit healthier. But overall, no major issues.

The room was surprisingly roomy for the price (anyone traveling in Tokyo knows how small they can get—this is what the size you’d expect in American cities). The public baths were clean and relaxing. They offered delicious snacks and drinks several different times of the day. The staff were very kind and helpful.
