This hotel is different than your standard one but it is very nice. For starters, the bathrooms are very comfortable regardless of the outdoorsy vibe to it and the rooms feel great. I loved the communal areas. The pool did seem small with too many leaves on it. Lastly keep in mind it is paid breakfast but very good breakfast. I only have 2 complaints and that has to do with the inconvenience of walking each time to a security gate in the area anytime we had to leave and come back, there should be a way that guests can go or a door code for people to go in and out rather than having to do this each time but this is not the hotels doing. Second complaint is that we had left a bag full of food and water before we left and came to see room service had thrown it away, was disappointed in that however overall great stay.

This hotel was awesome if you want to feel like a local and not a tourist love staying in the middle of the neighborhood and getting see what its like to live there. Also very close to the beach which is always a plus. The outside terrace is to die for!

Dreamcatchers is a beautiful, unique, bohemian concept. It is exactly as advertised. It's described as a hotel, but there are a lot of "hostel" elements: shared spaces like kitchen, "honor system" for beverages, and communal bathrooms/showers. It does offer very unique rooms with their own bathrooms and patios. I'm not sure I would stay here again, but that is not because it wasn't beautiful. The pool is as advertised, a big kiddie pool full of leaves. The rooms inside (granted each room is different) were very clean, but nowhere to put your suitcase, no TV (which who cares when you're around this beautiful oasis, but...I wanted it), felt dirty w/o rugs & lighting was absymal. However, they offered beach towels and chairs, the beach is literally 2 blocks away, cool red light therapy mask, comfortable bed, plenty of plugs, and wifi was good. The biggest reasons why I wouldn't stay here again is the outdoor bathroom and shower. I love that they are outside, however, without the fan on, the mosquitos are unbearable. Never did I read you needed to keep the fan on anywhere. I turn off all electricity when not in use, so in the morning when I went to the bathroom, I got eaten alive - no less than 10 bug bites. The staff to their credit came checked it out & even sprayed. They were amazing. But, the shower is never hot, which in PR, you don't really need, but at night it would be nice to have. If this were a hostel, different expectations, but it is not. Beautiful but not 4 me.

Peaceful oasis in San Juan.

A great little oasis in San Juan. Minutes from a beautiful beach. Easy access to everything. Will definitely stay here again.

Dreamcatcher is one of the most unique hotels I have ever seen, in the heart of the capital but feels as though you’re in a private jungle oasis. It’s only a short walk to a beautiful residential beach with beach chairs and towels available in the lobby. The menu changed daily and each dish tasted better than the last. The communal spaces and private terraces are perfect for a tranquil, relaxing stay in paradise. Staff is very friendly and helpful, with more in-house amenities and activities than I’ve ever seen a boutique hotel offer. Truly an exceptional location that I would highly recommend to anyone!

The staff here was outstanding, especially Mili. The property is like a zen oasis. Low lighting, quiet, serene. Love that our room had an outdoor bathroom/shower. It was covered, so you're always good. I am inspired to build an outdoor bathroom in my future home! The beach is literally right behind the property, like barely 2 blocks away. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful, quiet retreat. Neighborhood is very safe with restaurants within walking distance. Beach is a short 3 minute walk. Highly recommend the suites with the soaking tub.
