I don’t understand why there is such a big amount taken out for a security deposit 300 is crazy and they also charged me the full amount for the room even though I paid a deposit towards the room when I booked they went ahead and charged me the total amount for not the portion I owed after paying a deposit. The room smelled like mildew/mold and I was literally stuffed up every night when in the room outside the room I was fine. The curtain at the window to the room was disgustingly dirt it looks like it had mold on the bottom and the fridge in the room leaked water. I’m actually disappointed and with very little opinions because of the bad bunny residency we had no choice but to remain there the entire time

Disrespectful. Unkind. Consumer Fraud by Night Auditor (David) I was completely stranded late at night because of this hotel. I arrived around 10:30 PM, checked in, and was in my room when the night auditor (David) called to tell me I couldn’t stay because they “don’t accept Discover.” This was false — my reservation was fully paid through Expedia, and the hotel also charged my Discover card directly. Even after a Discover representative confirmed the charges, the night auditor threatened to call the police and forced me to leave. I was stranded after midnight and had to book another hotel at the last minute for a much higher price. I later contacted the manager of Tryp, Melanie, who contacted me to apologize, and promised I would refunded in full but that doesn’t resolve what happened. I was wrongfully denied a confirmed, paid-for reservation, double charged, and treated with hostility. If you’re visiting the area, I strongly recommend choosing Fairmount Hotel instead of Tryp Wyndham. Fairmount accepts all cards, offers multiple room options, and treats guests with responsibility, professionalism, and courtesy.

I’m so sad we didn’t get what we expected with this stay. The photos of the lobby look great, because the lobby is really the only thing that’s great. The rooms are very outdated and not kept very clean because of that. The shower had black mold, the all glass door of the bathroom shines the BRIGHTEST light directly into the beds. Our bathroom also reeked of cigarettes. The halls/AC systems smelled very mildewy. Some of the staff were probably the worst part of the stay though. Every single ask felt like we were bothering them- they kept all the towels behind the desk and made you sign out towels to use for the pool. Absolutely absurd. On top of that, their systems to pay weren’t working for the first two days so we had to wait in the lobby for an hour upon check-in. They treated us very poorly because of this, even though I reminded them we haven’t paid yet because you haven’t allowed us to.. they kept cancelling our room keys too. Then they tried to charge me for the full amount again on our checkout day. I think it’s due to the fact everyone said they had only been there a few weeks/months. Just really not what we were expecting. It was an okay stay but certainly wouldn’t stay again.
