Our first two nights at the hotel were great and the location perfect for us. I am generously giving the hotel a good rating though the last night experience was poor. The included breakfast on Monday was very poor (no food out, no help to restock and a bunch of guests waiting). They had either stopped restocking (8am) or just didnt have enough help to restock. ALSO, one of the guests was loudly knocking, opening their door and closing it every hour throughout the night. Not sure what they were up to but I understand the hotel has limited control over such occurrences. Overall would probably stay here again if the price is reflective of this level of hotel.

Bay view?

It was good, besides the fact that I paid for a legit Bay view and only got the side of the canal. If I'm paying for the bay view I'd really appreciate to view the bay

Stayed twice, and invited family this time around to occupy multiple rooms. They were less than impressed with the amount of indoor construction during the holidays, smelly rooms and lack of cleanliness. This hotel has potential but needs some serious TLC.

It is a hit or miss place I have stayed 4 times 2 times the place was cleaner and the rooms better kept. When you feel you have to check for bedbugs and you find signs in the lobby about proper guest behavior it makes you think twice about ever coming back which I am definitely not would get better service and about same price at Embassy Suites

adequate, but not great

Although the staff were friendly and the room was clean, I didn't have a particularly good experience beyond these factors. For one thing, the front desk initially gave me incorrect information about the airport shuttle, and I could have missed my return flight. And while the front desk did get the correct info eventually, I had to ask a follow-up question about the shuttle schedule, and only then did I get the correct info. Not a problem with the staff – this is a training issue, for which management should take responsibility. For another thing, the refrigerator in my unit was malfunctioning and made a continuously loud, terrible noise – I had to unplug it before getting to sleep. Finally, while the room was very clean and everything was neat, the bed was a bit squishy and I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked. If you need to stay near the SFO airport, I have to think there are better options.

Rooms were trashed! Multiple complaints in lobby all same time I went to complain about room. Did not want to issue refund. Sofa was flipped coach roaches and pet food all over the floors and beds. Beyond disappointed and disgusted

The front desk reception could use some work

The receptionist was cold and distant like she did not care about what the travelers experienced but, her trainee was wonderfully warm, welcoming and helpful. I had an opportunity to speak with the manager and look forward to future changes that provide a warm and welcoming environment.
