Breakfast staff were very unprofessional and rude. Their manager (Salvador?) said that they have been doing it for many years and basically it’s what it is. They need to respect guests. Very unprofessional behaviors.

The breakfast menu was acceptable but the staff did not treat the guests respectfully when checking in for breakfast and collecting used dishes off the tables. The other draw back was that bottled water was not served in the hotel .

Hotel has a very specific smell, probably because of carpet flooring. Our room has a view to bus station and we heard noise from buses early morning. But hotel has amazing breakfast and great location. 10 min walking to Alkatras pier and just a few minutes to pier 39. Also hop on -hop off tour just on the next corner and it is possible to see whole city for 1 day.

The rooms are very standard and outdated. The bathroom is very small. The breakfast buffet food is very basic and they serve same breakfast every day of the week. So not very appealing eating say things if you staying for 4-5days. Not very service friendly hotel if you are staying with lil kids. They don’t have microwave in the room but you can request one for $20 (seems a lot for a microwave). They don’t even let you take hot water from the breakfast buffet if you want to make your own tea or heat a bottle for the baby. Front desk staff is not very friendly and provide very limited info if you have questions abt the surrounding areas to visit.

The hotel lobby was nice, but the rooms were small, musty, and outdated. The carpets in the halls make rolling luggage very difficult and contribute to the musty smell. It is walking distance to the wharf and piers, but the views from the rooms are pretty bad. We had to park off site because their parking garage couldn’t not fit our SUV. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was OK. Overall, overpriced and outdated. Also bummed that wifi is not included.
