I’ve stayed here many times over the last several years. Used to be a reasonable, inexpensive, clean, well managed property. Walkable neighborhood, good restaurants. Bit of a shocker this go around and will look for alternatives in the future.
Young, inexperienced staff who were helpful but a manger who seemed to have no control. Housekeeping staff trying to do their best. Supposed non-smoking area with the hall reeling of cigarettes and weed. Woke up one morning to a man calling for help in the hallway. When I heard him telling someone he was “pulling” himself down the hall and no one would help him I went out to check. Wheelchair bound dbl amputee. Clearly hadn’t been bathed in a long time, soaked in urine. Said he dropped his wheelchair charger and couldn’t pick it up. Reluctantly went to his room to help. It was absolutely destroyed. Cigarette butts and food ground into the carpet. Vomit urine, trash, etc. Plugged his wheelchair and phone chargers in and left as he seemed medically OK.
Spoke with the manager who said it was out of their control. Not sure what that means but it’s unfortunate all around.
