I was not sure what to expect but was very happy. The rooms are a bit dated but clean, the lobby area is very nice as are all of the restaurants. I really liked that this is not a mega resort and all of the restaurants are accessible from the lobby area. I enjoyed the Calypso Bar and the entertainment was adequate. Food at the buffet was average. The food at the restaurants was good although at the Bamboo Steakhouse my food was lukewarm to cold. The beach area is a little small and the sun is limited due to the structure of the building but when I wound up in the shade, I just moved to the pool area. I was always able to find a lounge chair which was nice. The pool bar was great and even if there was a line it moved quickly. Overall I recommend this resort, especially if traveling solo.

The only reason I have this place 2 stars is because the entertainment staff do a really good job trying to make sure everyone is having a good time. This place is great if you are a midwestern spring breaker. This is what they are used to and therefore the staff in general is not amused. The food at the buffet is TERRIBLE. Breakfast is ok. Ugh I could go on and on, but why? This is not a place to go if you expect good service and quality.

Decent all-inclusive but definitely not worth price paid. Rooms nice, good house keeping and awesome shower. Average bed and terrible pillows. Average food at best, average to good service. Small but adequate and clean gym. Entertainment staff hard working and good. Don’t go during college spring break, unless you are college age and in a frat or sorority!

The buffet was just average and it is difficult to get reservations at the sit down restaurants which had much better food. The nice thing was the beach staff brought you a chair and umbrella when you went out.
