The most I can say about this resort is that the staff is A ! 5 stars is not enough. Our first time at an all inclusive and I’m not sure what I went in expecting but my expectations were blown away! Food was fantastic, something different each night with fan favorites offered each night. A cute entertainment show each night, daily activities at the pool and beach. Not much to do after 11:00pm so if you’re looking for an all night party, you may want to look elsewhere. Again, my rating is based mainly on the attention to detail and attentiveness of the 5 star staff!

We had a wonderful time at the RIU. The staff was friendly, the food was great and everything was clean! This resort is a little older and could use some upgrades, but has been kept up nicely.

Our stay at Riu Paradise Island was somewhat disappointing. Last year we stayed at Riu in Punta Cana & were very pleased. Unfortunately that was not the case with Paradise Island. The resort is small, needs an update & could use a shop onsite for snacks, sun block, etc. we did hear a-lot of people on the beach saying the same thing. We would not go back.

Very disappointing resort in comparison to other RIU resorts.very small and super noisy. Entertainment was subpar. Had to downgrade from a suite to a regular room to have ocean views (was supposed to have one from the suite). Maid service is unreliable to say the least. Resort credit is useless. Asked for an extra blanket and never got one in 7 days - cold weather- and had the blanket we had taken away on the last day. Not what I expected from RIU….

We had a great time. The room had a great view, very clean and loved having the refrigerator stocked at all times. Rooms service was very convenient. It was within walking distance to Atlantis and other restaurants. We felt very safe and staff was very accommodating. Down side was the hotel next door is closed, but didn't effect us.

Property needs attention and during the day lining up for a drink at the bar. The staff are amazing too bad the resort is poor shape. Nice location on the beach and atvs are super annoying.
