Great stay. Close to Quincy downtown and the T. The hotel was excellent—clean, with great services and an on-site Starbucks to grab your caffeine in the morning. I will definitely stay there again.

There was an overwhelming chemical cleaner odor in the entire hallway of the second floor. It was so strong I had to hold hold my nose just to get to my room. There were business papers and candy wrappers on the floor from the previous guest. The housekeepers were yelling at each other up and down the hallways to the point where I had to open my door to see what all the commotion was. I’ve stayed in lots of Marriott’s in the past and never experienced any issues like this before.

The room was nice but had various spots of wetness on the rug. Was surprised to have to pay for “incidentals” which were the store, coffee shop, parking etc. I thought that came with the stay, not to be charged extra upon arrival!

The property was beautiful and it was my birthday which made the experience awesome visiting Boston for the first time and see the Red Sox played and won the game. The hotel attendant was informative, kind and knowledgeable about the city and she made my stay memorable for my birthday celebration.

A typical hotel -- nothing bad and nothing surprising. Some aspects felt like a shake-down -- twenty bucks for parking, 10 bucks for internet. But overall, fine.
