Go stay somewhere ELSE!

Shower head was only 4 feet off the floor, shower head spilling water onto the floor (not centered in the shower), toilet paper holder attached to the toilet side in back, bad lightening everywhere, no counter space in the bathroom, hair on the sheets ( I asked for new ones and no offer to change them), outside doors don’t close on their own (not safe), vending machine doesn’t make change and neither does the front desk, no bar soap available and no hand soap at the bathroom sink, no towel bar at the sink, end table for the bed was put into the bathroom so there was no end table on one side of the bed, no alarm clock. Reserved a King and got an only one queen.

This place had cockroaches, stains on the walls, and access to the attic in the room. It is overpriced for such a dirty place.

This was a great hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff was great. It was conveniently near the "T". Only about a 10 minute walk which was a godsend for getting around Boston.

Disappointed

I wasnt expecting a classy joint, or anything, but considering that 2 of the 3 nights we stayed our keycards we deactivated. Our lights/power went out in JUST our room on our last day and there was quite the wait before it was addressed. And the front desk was unattended for hours on a weekend. Not to mention the less than perfect condition of a few areas of the room. Ripped lamp shade, makes on wall, cracked toilet, dented fridge....sure it wasnt an expensive place to stay but i still feel i overpaid.

Good bed bad everything else

Bed comfort was great and sheets were clean. Room was in need of repair. Floors, holes in the walls, missing caulking, shower faucet wouldn’t stay in same temperature spot. Didn’t even try to sit on the armchair that looked like it was many years past prime with stains. Looks like they renovated the outside of the hotel and hadn’t done the rooms or at least rm103 yet. Breakfast was awful when I went around 8:30-9. Few choices, disorganized area. You would think with it being a Saturday morning they’d bring their A game. Guess not.

Only 2 stars for convenient location to Boston, reasonable price and comfortable bed and ac. However, room was dilapidated and dirty. It was never serviced during a 3 night stay. Thin walls could hear steps from above room. Breakfast was slim and awful. Would not recommend.

Overall it was a good value. It's hard to find free parking and free breakfast nowadays. I didn't have the breakfast because i needed to get on the road but there was ample parking. They had hard wood floors in the room which i was surprised by as I don't think I've ever been in a hotel without carpeted floors. The chair at the desk was very old and frayed, and the shower area showed signs of needing repair, but the water pressure was great in the shower. Staff was nice. Would stay here again as it's close to family and affordable.

I stay there all but 1 hour. The room next to me had some very noisy people yelling and screaming at each other. Then the yelling and screaming trickled into the hallway infront of my room door and the started physically assaulting each other. I called down stairs, someone came up but they didnt have them leave. I did not feel safe with them being in the room adjacent to us so i checked out. Turns out the three people in the room were there all wrekend on a drug bender and got into an altercation. I will never book there again. I dont recommend it.
