We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here. They gave us a special room for my wife’s birthday, and the room did not disappoint: good bed, nice linens, etc. what made our stay special, however were the concierge staff who went out of their way to arrange for a booking at a nice restaurant, and were always checking to make sure we were happy with our stay. It is in old walled Quebec City and close to many attractions, including walking tours, just adding to the charm and convenience of the hotel.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Art deco decor put a sty lish patina on the whole experience. Loved our room, full of character and led out to a private section on a multi-tiered rooftop patio. Room cleanliness gets a ding for a used washcloth hanging on top of the shower rail and a dirty glass on the sink. Overall experience was good. The location is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Parking is near, but not included in the stay.

A lovely old property in a wonderful area. However, the check-in process could have been better. They state that staff is on-site until 11:00 pm however, they were gone when we arrived at 10:30. We had checked in online so that was Ok but there was no information regarding the hotel parking. We did find a parking garage around the corner so I worked out. Also, the "deluxe" room we booked turned out to be located on the interior section of the hotel behind the fire escape so there was no natural light coming into the room. For the premium price of the room, this should have been disclosed. We were quite disappointed with the room because of this. On the plus side, it was a large room with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed.
