Fantastic stay in Quebec City

This hotel certainly exceeded our expectations. Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious room. Kitchen was a big plus too. Will definitely stay again.

Amenities are awesome. Bathroom is large and very nicely renovated with heated floor. Fully equipped kitchen made it very convenient for a family of 4. A lot of space in the room. Personal touches like the yoga mat in the room, board games, story printing in the lobby, free water every day, duckie toy gift for my little one made our stay very special.

well located in the old-quebec area. the decor is ecletic but very nice. it does not look like your standard Holiday Inn. breakfast at the "Bijou" restaurant is a buffet, but in higher style of options.

Stay at Monsieur Jean!

Our only regret about our stay at Monsieur Jean was that we didn't stay longer! Seriously, it was better than the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac by far. The rooms were much nicer and more modern. The bathroom and shower was much better with more privacy and a larger shower that two people could actually shower comfortably together in. The rooms had a small kitchenette that you could truly cook anything requiring a stovetop with if you wanted to. The staff was amazing and super friendly. The view from the room was magical. The hotel bar/tapas restaurant were incredibly good and the included breakfast was beyond amazing--we were shocked that something that good was included. If you're deciding between Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac and Monsieur Jean, Monsieur Jean is the right choice (or at least should be the high majority of your stay). As someone who centers vacation planning around unique accommodations, I say this with full confidence!

Highly recommend this hotel

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, though the mattress felt a bit worn. However, that didn’t take away from the overall great experience. The location is perfect—within walking distance to bars, restaurants, and major landmarks. I highly recommend staying here!
