"Clean, comfy hotel but make a room request"
Furniture a bit dated but comfortable and clean. We booked a family room which had a separate bedroom and a sofa bed as well as a small kitchen and dining table -very spacious. Not very central but very close to the metro station so easy to get around. We asked to be moved as the room smelled of smoke so we were moved to a non-smoking floor. Make sure you request this if needed. Unfortunately our second room was next to the lift shafts so quite noisy all through the night. We didn't really sleep that well due to noise which was a shame and we were disappointed that the swimming pool was closed for the winter months - it opened a couple of days after our stay. Didn't try the food at the hotel restaurant as we only wanted light meals on a short stopover so we used local restaurants and shops which was more cost effective for us than paying for a full buffet.

"beautiful hard edge modern design"
After many visits to HK, and stays in large luxury hotels, the stark design simplicity of TUVE intrigued me so I decided to give it a try. I enjoy the random back streets of this crazy city and Tin Hau was a fun place to stay, and being close to the MTR within easy reach of anywhere I wanted in HK. The TUVE itself was design perfection: total attention to detail throughout, which is the hallmark of very best modern interior design. Understated and subtle, from the Bach in the elevator to the beautiful sheets, good quality coffee and soaps in the room. I really loved the wooden cube that opened to form the desk and amenities shelves. Gripes? Space was tight, but when the bed is so large it's a fair trade off, and there were only four coat hangers in the glass box cupboard, and nowhere else to put clothes so the gaping suitcase spilling clothes spoiled the minimalist luxe of the room. Also I smashed my iPhone on the polished concrete floor. And in an cold spring in HK I did long for a bath in my chilly room. But I would love to stay again, maybe in one of the larger wood lined rooms.

"Those views "
Have been staying here on trips through HK for years, most of the time have had incredible harbour views from the rooms, it's always super comfortable and staff are great. Nice gym and pool also with views over the water and easy to get everywhere in HK I tried a few other hotels in the city but this one is great for the price

"Nice hotel close to train station"
Very nice hotel with very comfortable bed and pillows. The 'western' food in restaurant was really bad. I had upset stomach so ordered 'French' style steamed chicken with green beans and potatoes. What I got was 4 small boney pieces of chicken that although nicely presented had no meat on them. This chicken was plonked on top of some strange stringy stuff that was smothered in a thick, sticky soy sauce - I think it was cabbage but maybe not. No potatoes in site and the green beans were wrapped in what I think was ham. As I don't eat red meat I couldn't eat the beans, the stringy soy stuff was nasty and so all I managed to be able to eat was a tiny morsel of chicken. It was expensive and I left very hungry. Not a success. If the street food is anything to go by (yum!) they should stick to Chinese cuisine or get better training on western foods if that is what they want to do.
