Family visit to PDX

I like Oxford Suites overall, good amenities and clean. Beds are comfortable, room spacious. Wish breakfast was until 10 on weekdays, though. Teen missed eating ‘cause he rather sleep than eat. The only downside to this property is location…traffic on the 5 is horrendous in Portland, and you have to get on the 5 to get to the hotel. We left in the morning (after commuter hrs, still took 20 min to go 4 miles), and didn’t come back until after 8pm. Couldn’t pop over to hotel to drop/pick up things, or rest before heading out again. If you need access during the day, i recommend you don’t stay on Hayden Island.

Super comfortable. The only thing i could comment on is the wonderful shower. It was a nice stand up shower that was very spacious. However, the water escaped all over the bathroom floor
