I love the location of the Oxford. It is centrally located to the freeway and most of not all shopping needs. This the second time that I have stayed at this property. The front desk agent, Ana rembered me from a previous visit in November. That is super important to me and deciding on future stays. My room request for a crib was there when we went in the room. I will always return to the Oxford when I come to Portland. Thank you for the wonderful customer service.

Our overall stay was okay. There was a decent variety for breakfast, which is included in the stay, and we appreciated the evening complementary drinks. The staff were also very kind. One thing to note however, is that it is a very pet-friendly hotel. We've stayed at pet-friendly hotels before, but we've never experienced one where the dogs were welcome in all areas, including the bar. Expedia should change the section that says: "Pets allowed in specific rooms only; call ahead to arrange with property." This is not the case. We were told that there are not specific rooms for pets and were placed in one that likely had pets in it before, which was not ideal with allergies in our family. Unfortunately, we could not change hotels last minute, so we had to settle for the room. There were other issues during our stay as well, but the hotel management were very receptive to them.

We have stayed here in the past and it has been good but this time it was excellent! Newly updated everything is clean and modern and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful as well.
