Our room was conveniently located near the breakfast buffet, several pools that were either quiet or “party” pools, and the Chill Out beach club. We also enjoyed the vegetation across from our swim out room, where we saw monkeys and other wildlife every day. The buffet food was much better than the restaurant food and several staff members were wonderful (polite, friendly, and quick). The pools and grounds were clean and the Chill Out beach was amazing! What we didn’t enjoy was a lot more. The front desk service was very slow for everything. beach bartenders were rude, our refrigerator was not cold for the majority of the stay (we called on it 3 times & eventually was replaced the day before we checked out), we tried to get a bucket of ice to keep our drinks cold on several occasions with no avail, there were no ice machines in our building, room had a lot of wear and tear & needed some updates, and the front desk never scheduled our luggage assistance at check out even though they called us to ask if we wanted it. Overall, this is a mediocre resort at best and we will not book with them again.

This hotel is extremely under staffed. You have to wait for everything. We got engaged on our second day here and they did nothing for us…. At all. We have dead/alive wasps outside our room daily (14 days to be exact) we also were told through Expedia we would get a free room upgrade is available and the hotel said no. I not only spent a day on my phone speaking to Expedia I also paid to use my phone in Mexico for that day for now reason. We were here with two other friends so when we would go to the bar to order multiple drinks they would laugh or get frustrated… we literally paid for all inclusive. I also booked a trip with friends to see tulum and 3 cenotes where one we could jump in but there was no third cenote and we didn’t get to jump into any of them. I personally would never come back here. Especially for the outrageous amount we paid.
