The home is located in a quiet neighborhood. I felt safe and secure. Other reviews have mentioned the mattresses. I would agree they need to be replaced in all bedrooms, along with new bed pillows would be nice. Regardless, we all slept like babies and got good rest. There are other minor things that can be done to spruce up the house, but not anything that caused me to regret staying there. I would suggest a notebook with instructions such as the WiFi code, operating the TV’s and what is expected when you check-out, etc. Other than that our visit was fine. The Host was quick to reply when I reached out.

The house was dirty. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The water wouldn’t get hot, just slightly warm. The oven was so dirty the smoke alarm went off while preheating. The microwave on the counter didn’t work, the garbage disposal didn’t work, the dishwasher was full of water. The main shower head was broken. The carpet is old and dirty. It was just really bad.

Glendale 2025

Overall a good stay at this property. Plenty of room for my wife and I. Big spacious kitchen with plenty of utensils, huge commercial refrigerator/freezer, however the ice maker quit during the last few days of our stay. The king bed in the master bedroom was softer than we are used to, and quite bouncy, that caused us to wake each other up when we moved in the bed. We chose to sleep separately, using the queen bed in the other bedroom, very comfortable bed. The carpets in the bedrooms could use a good cleaning or replacing, as there were stains in the corners where fixtures had been and I could see the areas where the foot traffic was.It was a place close to where our son lives, so we could help out with the house he had recently purchased. I gave it 4 stars mainly because of the items I noted above, probably would stay again if in need of a place in that area.

The property was as-advertised and had all the accommodations we needed. It is close to the Westgate Entertainment District, it is less than 25 minutes to the Dodger Spring Training facility (Camelback Ranch), and it is very close to the local VFW for those who are members.
