Room 210 was in good condition . There was constant pounding and noise coming from the roof where air vents and equipment rooms were located. The room was near the elevator and the utility and elevator rooms had noise and pounding constantly. Had a hard time trying to sleep. This lasted all day and especially at night. Advised front desk at check out and in the future would like a room away from these areas. People here are nice but we have spent close to a dozen nights in 2025 at the Inn, and this was the worse experience we have experienced at the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Swarthmore. The room was lovely and spacious with a delightful view of the shops and train station from our window. The staff was most friendly and helpful. We enjoyed Christmas music played in the lobby. I will always stay at the Inn when visiting the area.

Clean, friendly staff, good restaurant. Rooms appear to be ready for some long deferred maintenance. Elevator has been out of service for 2 years. Adding a safe to the room would be welcome. Luggage rack was on it’s last legs.

The room was very quiet and clean. We checked in at 6:15pm and left around 6:30 am, only 1 nite. The elevator didn’t work and we were on the 2nd floor. It was no problem and the woman at the front desk did ask if we would be OK getting to the 2nd floor. We told her we’d be fine. The bathroom was very nice and clean. The towels get an A+. The only complaint about the bathroom was the toilet tissue holder was behind you on the left side so you had to twist and reach back to get the tissue. I would stay again here tho.

Clean, large room with comfortable bed. Great location for visiting Swarthmore, or for visiting Philadelphia if you don't want to drive in (train stop is right next to hotel). Minus one star: Elevator broken, they seem in no hurry to fix it, and desk staff made no effort to help with carrying luggage up and down stairs. Minus another one: Check-in person says "breakfast starts at 8am" as if there's an included buffet provided, but actually it's a la carte and not included, and the breakfast menu is very limited. Plus carpeting is tired, and tavern closes early.
