We stayed at this property with Scouts, and they loved it. The location was good, as it was about a 15-minute drive to most city parking garages and about a 20-minute walk to the subway near Temple University, which went directly to the baseball stadium. The kitchen was well stocked with a nice coffee bar (which the leaders appreciated). The scouts enjoyed the games and chill atmosphere. We stayed at this property with the Scouts, and they loved it. The location was convenient; it was about a 15-minute drive to most city parking garages and a 20-minute walk to the subway near Temple University, which provided direct access to the baseball stadium. The kitchen was well-stocked, featuring a nice coffee bar that the leaders appreciated. The Scouts enjoyed the games and the relaxed atmosphere.

Had an amazing time. I was pleasantly surprised at how much there was to do in house. The kitchen was clean, the bathrooms were clean, everything was neat and tidy. It was a quick 10-15 minute walk to downtown Fishtown. Check-in was extremely quick and easy.

Our stay was ok but not worth it, plus my post check out experience was frustrating! This is a fun house, not necessarily comfortable but entertaining. It has personality. The biggest ding for me is the showers: old, nasty shower curtains and mold in the tiles of the main BR, shower. It was freezing most of the time! There’s small outlet heaters in the basement but they don’t work well. Turning the thermostat up made the kitchen an inferno. The bedding is cheap/thin. Found extras in the closet the 2nd night. Pillows also very flat. This was my 2nd stay after several years. Small things needed repair, you could just tell from a lot of wear/tear overtime. Some activities were not fully functional but most were so we made it work. The internal door knob was also loose but still locked fine so I figured it was part of other minor repairs needed. Cabinets are chipped, off track, screws missing, etc. We did have an accident, one kid broke a decorative glass pane. I reached out immediately, sent pics, knowing it’d be fine with the insurance. He threatened it might not cover it & soon after check out, the owner called blaming our party for the door and other small repairs attempting to nickel & dime/hassle me. I am a calm person but he tried to yell and over talk me until I de-escalated the situation by my response. I also assured him that I took video at check in/out then the accusations subsided. That left a really negative taste in my mouth, this will be the last our last time.

Wonderful place to stay in the city!! Very clean place. Plenty of spices, dishes, k-cups were stocked in the kitchen. All the games worked perfectly and were soo much fun! Lots of yummy snacks in the vending machines as well. The only parking available is street parking so just make sure to plan for that accordingly. Wonderful place and I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Fun and Functional, But Could Use a Refresh

Our group stayed for two nights while attending Phillies games. The condo had a nice layout with plenty of space for everyone, and the game room was a great bonus for some evening fun. However, one of the downstairs showers didn’t have any hot water, and the place could benefit from a deep cleaning and a few updates. The beds were quite firm and not the most comfortable for sleeping. Overall, it worked for our trip, but there’s room for improvement. The vending machines in the unit were a genius idea and convenient.

The property was functional for our needs. The owner communicated with us completely. The location was up and coming and the property was located next to a delightful Turkish Brew place that has the best pastries and light food. The property could sleep plenty of people and everyone in the area was super friendly. The game room kept us entertained with mostly pool and poker games. There a plenty of dishes, pots, and pans. There were staple seasonings and olive oil left for the guests. There were a few drawbacks to the place. In one bathroom, you can't put toilet paper in the toilet. The place needs some cleaning up but I know the cleaning crew had not shown up...no fault of the owner. There are a lot of rules (not a problem for our family, but may be for others) and the pictures on the site are nicer than the actual apartment. I think the pictures don't show the wear and tear that occurs over time. Overall, we were satisfied.

Great for a large family stay, cool industrial vibe

The main level with kitchen and two bedrooms was just a couple small steps at door thresholds above sidewalk grade, which made it easy for the grandparents to get around. Plenty of open space to socialize and many fun activities just like the photos. We had two cars. Free street parking as available. Usually was able to park directly at the entrance, but never more than 1/2 block away. Attached photo is view of parking from kitchen window.

Summer Break

Great fun for three generations. Our teenage grandkids learned how to play pool. They were never bored in the four days we were in the apartment. Our daughter had fond memories of her youth when shevplayed the Atari game. Clean, Quiet, and Safe place to unwind and relax.

But I would definitely return House was just as described, enough room for everyone, plenty of space and things to do. Owner responded immediately and answered all questions.
