This was an easy and simple decision as this place was so close to lovers point beach and not to far from cannery row. It was packed for a July 4th weekend but it turned out to be a great few days.

Paper-thin walls. Even though “quiet hours” begin at 10, the room below me partied until after midnight. The next day our water was unexpectedly turned off. The garage is dank an has strange puddles. We had to leave early for another hotel. The only positives things are the perfect location, competent staff and a surprisingly efficient elevator. See review

Motel is old and nothing special but the young man in the lobby was welcoming and accommodating when we wanted to check in a little bit early so we could park and goto the beach so I appreciated that. Room was okay, not super clean, bathroom was not the best & the heater in the room was stuck on. I could smell gas from it and feel heat. We asked the house keeper that was down the hallway and she said that’s just how it is and we would have to call to have maintenance come look and offered nothing more. Beds were hard but I’m used to a super soft 4in memory foam topper so maybe I’m just picky lol. I will say it had an elevator which was nice. The motel is mediocre at best but the location is everything. Right across the street from the beach, a nice restaurant and close drive to the aquarium. I may consider staying again purely for the location.
