Awesome

Everything was amazing from the check in to check out a few days later. We only went down for 2 nights for a competition on Saturday. The rooms were renovated about 2 years ago and very modern and looks and feels great. The indoor pool was warm and the hot tub was relaxing. I will definitely go back if we ever go back down the ocean. I highly recommend.

It's winter so not much open in Ocean City but the hotel has a nice pool and splash area for families and a rooftop restaurant that had live music. Very nice!

Bad experience

The pool was extremely overwhelming of chlorine. We both got sick from it. Our room had about a 2 foot section of the ceiling fall during the night from water damage from rain. This was a valentines weekend get away that turned out very poor.

The woman at the front desk at check in was great. She was super friendly and she made checking in easy. Even with the update the hotel got, it’s still run down in a lot of spots and was not the cleanest. The pool area was a little questionable with exposed wires that were getting wet from the moisture. The beds in the room were awful. It was like sleeping on cardboard. The bathroom is the room was not clean and a little outdated with broken items. The toilet paper holder was broken and the leg on the vanity/sick was also broken. We won’t stay here again.

The towels that they have in the pool area are beyond disgusting, they need to bleach those towels. They were practically yellow.

Don't stay on 7th floor!

The rooms were nice, however, if you want sleep don't stay on the 7th floor! You hear everything from the bar above including people talking loudly, the band, something rolling and squeaking and the vacuum! No one even mentioned it at check in. The pool/hot tub area seemed ok but after being there a few hours the chlorine and haze was sickening. The pool is actually cold for a heated pool. The hot tub was ok. I left with a headache from it all though and then couldnt sleep because of the noise. It was not a restful stay. Our friend was relocated to another floor. Breakfast would have been more enjoyable and easier to get to if the man hadn't been there nonstop restocking. He was not very courteous and pushed me and others out of his way a few times. Some low sugar food options would have been nice also. It was a nice selection in general though and convenient.

Overall the experience was okay, nothing exciting or super. The weekend my family decided to stay to celebrate my daughter's birthday unfortunately also happened to be the weekend of a cheerleading competition in OC. I should have done my research prior to booking the hotel but I also feel that the hotel should have been more upfront about them having limited availability due to the event. The hotel was very noisy with kids running around everywhere unsupervised. The hotel doesn't limit how many cars are allowed on one reservation so there were probably 3-4 cars at least 6-7 people staying in one room. The parking lot was horrible, with hardly any parking for actual paying customers. The hotel lists that they have grab and go breakfast each morning, which sure they had some stuff but hardly anything, stating that the truck hadn't arrived yet with the products. The pool area/splash pad was nice and probably would have been a better experience at another time when there weren't kids running around unsupervised. We initially booked a dog friendly room because I was going to bring my dog however we changed our minds. Be aware that if you book a pet friendly room they automatically upon check in charge you 30 dollars per night stay. I had to talk to the manager to let her know I didn't bring my dog and I wouldn't be paying the charge. The room was clean however the mattress was super hard, bed frame was broken and overall could use some updates. I probably wouldn't stay here again
