Icky, sticky, and past it's prime

Initial impressions when entering the room were positive. After that things just went south. The bathroom was awful, from the vanity light, to the shower, there were problems everywhere. The shower caddy was secured to the wall with packing tape! The AC unit in the room was responsible for the bedroom and the living room/dine in kitchen. There was a riser on the no-tell-motel style AC unit and an unfinished duct running from that into the bedroom. I wish I got a picture. It was a sight to behold for sure. The kitchen area had vinyl tiles. Some of which were loose and would stick to your feet. Yay. The fridge was an icky old white-ish unit (not black like the listing) which was dented and quite noisy. My wife and I are both Sci-Fi fans and the nearest descriptor for the fridge was a laser infused space battle. The hotel is pet friendly which is usually fine, however they clearly don't do a good job cleaning in between guests as I found no shortage of dog hair. Plus every day my wife and I woke up with red eyes and stuffy noses. We're allergic to animals. All I can say is the hotel is clearly past it's prime. This was our first experience with the Sonesta line, and it will likely be our last. I'm sure this place was nice in it's time...

The room was disappointing overall. The bathroom was pretty bad. The light over the sink was rusty and broken. The shower head was nasty and not what was pictured in the listing. The bathroom fan would clunk randomly. The furniture was pretty banged up. The wood-look vinyl strips in the kitchen would stick to your foot and lift. The TV remote barely worked
