I didn't get past the front desk. The gentleman working the front desk was lovely but I knew before I pulled in the parking lot that I wouldn't be staying. I got the impression that homeless people were housed at the hotel and the woman loitering on the sidewalk near the hotel appeared to be either mentally ill or using drugs. It did not seem like a safe environment.

My room though small,was sparkling clean,very comfortable and just fine for one person. I needed to check-in a few hours early and the friendly Desk Clerk made sure my room was ready. The bed was queen size and extremely comfortable with plenty of plump pillows. The bathroom sparkled and had all the basics plus a hairdryer and some small product samples. The bathroom could use some mirror lights though as the overhead lights were not too helpful or flattering. Still, it was bright enough to see everything in the room quite easily. The microwave( a bit old)and small fridge were so handy and clean and both worked perfectly. The TV was a good size for the room and all channels ( and there were plenty of them), came in sharp and clear. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Kevin was especially kind, gracious and helpful as he helped me with my heavy luggage. I had to checkout a day earlier than I’d expected and I was in a rush. The desk clerk was so efficient and pleasant as he expedited my checkout and processed my refund for the extra day. This is a basic motel with necessities,very nice extras and a pleasant,restful,safe,comfortable place to stay for those of us on a budget!

When we got there for a 3:00 check in we hada to wait a half an hour because our room wasn't cleaned and ready. By the time we got in the room we had to hurry because we had a wedding 20 minutes away. I hate rushing

Loiterers on property, unsafe environment, and active police sting when we arrived. Westchester County officers pulled us over thinking we were part of what was going on, then we were credentialed, cleared of any wrong-doing, and strongly advised to leave for our own safety. Expedia push-through had not arrived, no check-in occurred, no keys were issued, no room was used. Supervisor refused refund despite safety concern disclosure.
