Everything about this hotel was amazing except the breakfast attendant. She wasn’t very friendly with us and other guests. Other than that this place was very awesome!

The hotel is located right next to the thruway with an exit which made it extremely loud. The door to our room was extremely difficult to open and close. You had to push with all your weight just to get it open and closed. The walls are so thin, you could hear everything going on in the room above. We got absolutely no sleep. We had a three night reservation Thursday to Sunday. It was so bad, we left Friday night after we gave up trying to sleep. We had made reservations for June, which I promptly canceled We were more than a little disappointed.

The room was fine-ish, albeit very dated. The closet door stuck, and the room itself had a slight odor (not of smoke but a slightly musky odor nonetheless). The front desk staff was polite when it was there. I stopped by once around 7:30pm, and nobody could be found. The complimentary breaskfast was slightly better than I anticipated, even if still a little basic. Overall, it's a functional, safe decision if you're looking for a convenient location equidistant between Downtown and Palisades Center plus directly off the highway.
