Great location, very lovely staff, room was clean but the room did smell terrible like sewage or old smoke, moldy, musty. It was pretty bad and did spoil the stay even leaving the outside door open for hours.

Bellagio by the Sea - Collaroy Hotels

Bellagio by the Sea

Shower stall needed good scrub. TV remote didn't work. Bedside lamp had broken cord. Entry card failed to swipe, fortunately at time was in lift beside reception so got new one quickly. No drawers to place underwear, keys, wallet small items etc. Some parking confusion because car parking space allotted, like some others, did not have number painted on floor but on sign invisible when door left raised.

"great location close to amenities"
I booked the 2 bedroom cottage for a one night stay in palm beach, for a friends wedding. Could not have been more happy with the location. It was right on the Main Street between the boat house and the ceremony location. We had to wait a while to checkin - about 20mins - as staff were attending to other customers in the restaurant. But they were friendly and walked us to our door. The cottage was beautiful. One bathroom but very generous in size and perfect for 2 couples to share as weekend together. He kitchen was well stocked with supplies for a continental breakfast. Staff also dropped off a fresh fruit platter and bread a couple of hours after checkin. We loved this location. It was a 38degrewe weekend and if there was one thing to fault, it would have been great if there was air conditioning in the bedrooms. Some of the baskets in the kitchen needed a bit of dusting-over, but otherwise, this was a great beach snack and we would choose to stay here next time.

Beautiful. Only problem was a diamond python on the path back to the ferry. We went around it and consequently missed the ferry.

The suburb is also known for its Chinese, Japanese and Korean food. If you feel like some culture, you can check out a stage show at Willoughby Theatre Company or take a dance class at Chatswood Dance Studio. Just across the Sydney Harbour Bridge from Circular Quay, Milsons Point is where the busy CBD gives way to a residential area that still has a number of good local restaurants and cafes.
