I like Hyatt Place Hotels in general because the hotels, just like this one, are modern and the rooms clean and very nice. However, the location of the room in this hotel was literally right next to and just about overhanging a very busy 6 lane road that was very noisy. Not good! In addition, this hotel particular hotel has the audacity to charge $11 for a breakfast that was Free for the SAME breakfast at a Hyatt Place Hotel I stayed at 2 weeks before in Chantilly, VA. I would recommend walking 2 doors down to the Village Inn Restaurant for a real good and tasty breakfast. Even though the condition of the hotel was excellent, I won't stay at this particular hotel again in Virginia Beach. Just a personal preference.

My family enjoyed the Hyatt Hotel with everything in Beach Town Center. We went to our daughter’s wedding and I packed my mother of the bride dress in my suitcase. It was wrinkled throughout the dress. The staff offered me a steamer for my dress. I am happy, they had it in their hotel. My hubby and I went for breakfast every morning. Also, we went to the gym and pool. My teenagers went to the gym with us, but they wanted to go to Fresh Market. In walking distance, we went to Target, Nordstrom, Coastal Region, Bahama Breeze, Village Inn and Cheesecake Factory. There were other shops we wanted to try but, we ran out of time. The hotel parking was fantastic, no daily charge. The staff customer service was a 10 rating for excellence at its best. The room stayed clean and the cleaning staff cleans every other day. I am glad that I chose the Hyatt Hotel. This is a diamond in the ocean. My hubby and I are grateful for the service, we have received. Thank you ❤️

They charge extra for breakfast so if I am going to pay I will go get what I want elsewhere. No microwave in the room ( a disappointment). Staff was very nice and did everything you expect. Parking sucked for a full size van with scooter lift on the back. Had to park way further away than my body was willing to walk.
