We tried to use hairdryer and it sparked and starting smoking...fire hazard. Our ac heater unit did not work. There were signs all over stating they had a fire hazard situation...no compensation. Also they released a pre paid room after we contacted them and told them we were delayed. Sad affair

We had to change rooms when we got there. The stench and temperature in the first room was unbearable. The second room was slightly better but I still had to request their "air purifier" to remove the stuffy musty smell. I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by asking. The website indicates "newly renovated", when? In 2017 last time I stayed there. Our room was not renovated and when questioned, the response was "well some rooms have been repainted, some work done in some bathrooms, some carpets have been replaced". That should have been specified on website, some rooms have been renovated. The outdoor pool was closed. Crazy...not sure why..,Sheraton downtown Toronto have indoor/outdoor pool open all year. My son was disappointed it was closed. Its end of May, should have been opened. Sheets on our bed didn't fit and popped off all night. When requested more, was told they'd be dropped off but we'd have to make bed ourselves. No housekeeping done on 2 nights or less, but they did come onto our room and changed garbages. Isn't that part of housekeeping. The ONLY good thing this hotel had going for it, not price as it was still over $600 for 2 nights, is location. It is within walking distance to Clifton Hill and many eateries. However, they used to give out vouchers for Denny's, but not anymore. You have to purchase a minimal dinner package Disappointed in you HoJo...
