Had an amazing meal at The Keg, it's right across the road for the Motel. It's about a 5 minute walk to Clifton Hill. Our room was ok, sure missed a mini fridge, and our bed was old you could feel the springs on one side (closest to the window). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The coffee was excellent and the breakfast was good, but the seating is to small to accommodate the demand.

This is a great property in terms of location and staff. In fact, the staff are some of the best I have ever dealt with at a hotel and I travel a lot! The staff were phenomenal, super friendly and very helpful! In terms of the hotel, it's okay and very basic - you really are paying for the location. The elevator is slow as molasses in winter, and there's only ONE. For a hotel of that size, you're definitely waiting. The beds were alright, but they definitely need to invest in some new pillows and updated sheets. One bed had pen mark on it and the other some black stuff.... I HAVE to think they were clean, just stained. And the sink dripped study. The housekeeping staff were amazing, Eunice was assigned to my room and she did an absolutely fabulous job!! Overall review, if location is what that matters, and you're cool with mediocre facilities, but spectacular staff, then this is the place for you!

The beds were very uncomfortable for the price and it’s an old property. Also the breakfast was really bad as there were no eggs and just simple cereal and breads basically. Also, they needed reminders to fill up stuff when it got over during breakfast . The front desk staff was nice though.I would not go here again.
