This listing is an apartment on the lower level.

Having been a VRBO customer for over 20 year with excellent renter ratings this is my first awful experience with a property/owner. The property has been flipped and is now 2 apartments. This apartment is on the lower level. The property is clean. When I rented this property it was listed as "Luxurious Two-Floor Residence" "two dedicated floors". I rented the entire building as the listing stated. When I showed up it was clear it was an apartment, this was not what I rented. We were given access to the apartment on the lower level. I informed the property owner this was not what I paid for! I would have never rented a space that was going to be occupied by other people or a space on a lower floor. As soon as people arrived to other apartment the noise was unbearable. Any noise from upstairs could be heard from below. Talking, walking and when the lady checked in with 3 kids who played tag upstairs the noise was constant. We had to leave. We flew across the county for a College Expo and needed our rest. The owner knew his listing was inaccurate and acknowledged this in a text where he said "I don't why the VRBO listing was wrong I already call them to rectify." The noise was so bad after the Expo was done we had to leave to go stay at a hotel. I advised the property owner this was not what I paid for and wanted a refund. Did not happen. The owner has now updated the listing. Be advised this is not a nice area, trash all over the streets and directly across from a cemetery.
