We’ve stayed here multiple times. We love the amount of space in the rooms. That’s a rarity in NYC. Friendly staff, lovely pastry shop in the lobby. Close to so many fun restaurants and attractions. We highly recommend!

Been staying here since 2008 but thinking this might be my last. Unless it’s a suite, you can really hear everything in the hallway. Housekeeping employees continue to be really loud from early morning having chats right outside those non soundproof doors.

A/c was broken, no tv remote in room and no fridge (you had to ask for it to be brought by request). Waited until 4pm on the dot to let us in the room. Looked out onto a building - no natural light; with construction right outisde our window. Room generally clean and spacious especially for NYC.

Bare kind of sad rooms, kind of clean....

Cool and very active bar and coffee shop. Front desk really had no interest in guest, bell man we hard to find. Room was clean'ish, you could descript it as minimalist if you were being kind, bare is closer to reality. Furniture was stained. Rooms and hallways need a refresh. It was fine but didn't deserve the ratings given.

Nice old hotel. Friendly staff. Bed was excellent although as in many NYC hotels, the room was pretty small. The cleaning staff did an outstanding job. It's not as glitzy as a corporate hotel, but I'd rather stay in the Upper Westside than in Midtown, and it's somewhat cheaper.

Artzy hotel with lots of amenities and great locat

Great location. Wuiet, close to Central Park and walking distance to Columbus Circle, Broadway and West Side. Hotel has nice breakfast/pastry coffee bar, music and in-house artist offerings. Clean and quiet rooms. Great personnel

The hotel staff went above and beyond...they were great! I really wanted a quiet and restful night, but the central air would make loud beeping sounds every few minutes which made it difficult to sleep. I had to shut off the air, which was not a comfortable alternative. Also, the view is obstructed due to scaffolding.

Beautiful hotel in Upper West

One of the very few hotels in the Upper West. I like to stay here. It is quieter area and very safe. Reception desk personnel is courteous and very helpful. Room is not big but clean, quiet and comfortable.
