Beautiful location, right in the French Quarter but far enough away from the main strip and all the noise. My courtyard room was stunning inside and out. Very comfortable bed. Staff is friendly and quick to assist.

I want to start by saying that the front desk staff on duty during my stay were amazing, friendly and professional. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with how my room issue was handled by management. I had booked a deluxe room, but the room I received was very small seemed to be a petite room and the bed seemed to be a full size, not what I expected. Upon raising my concerns with the front desk, I was told only the manager could assist but the manager wasn’t available & I had to leave for an event. I asked the front desk to please leave a note for the manager so I could be contacted. Despite staying from Saturday to Tuesday, I never heard back from anyone during my stay which was extremely disappointing especially since I was there celebrating my daughter’s birthday & had a busy schedule. The room itself also had other issues. It was poorly located the window faced a stairway, so we couldn’t open the shutters without people walking up & down looking directly into our room. In the mornings, housekeeping would pile large black trash bags & cleaning materials directly in front of our door like it was their central station to pile everything. It was loud, disruptive, and messy. I even recorded the noise because it went on for hours every morning. Which made the manager not address my room reservation issue that more fustrating like they left me with the worst possible room. Still have not heard from anyone despite leaving a direct review on their directly sent survey.

Sleepless in New Orleans

The location is just what we were looking for in proximity to the French Quarter. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue for me was our room was right off the courtyard. You can hear everything that goes on. Some of the guests were very loud. Granted I know it’s New Orleans and it’s party city, but we could hear everything like it was in the room with us. Had I known this I probably wouldn’t have chosen this particular location to stay But overall it was a good experience.

I had to change rooms as the hot water in the shower did not work. Otherwise, the rooms were very charming and I liked the simple, elegant, black and white decor. It is an old building (late 1700's). Not a lot of electric plugs for someone who has a lot of electronics. Beautiful bathrooms with marble walls. Everything was very clean. Property is historic. All front desk staff were very helpful. Location in the French Quarter was excellent. I came by Amtrak and did not need parking. I took the streetcar and walked to the hotel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in the French Quarter! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The location was ideal—close enough to walk to all the sights and restaurants, but tucked away on a quiet street that made it easy to relax. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the beautiful courtyard was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. I’d definitely stay here again!

The hotel is what you might expect from staying in a converted historic building. The room was a bit tricky to get to, going up and down flights of stairs and the room itself was small, but appropriate for a single traveler. It was on a part of Royal Street that was a little tricky to park on, but during weekday evenings I never had problems finding a space more than a hundred feet away. The courtyard is beautiful and the overall ambiance of the place is charming and heightened my experience.
