Parking was available, but it was valet ONLY and the charge was $50+ PER DAY--this is an unnecessary cost that should be explained clearly at the time of reservation. We were able to avoid this fee and get free parking but I feel this isn't the everyday norm. Parking should be part of the reservation and not an added expense!

There was a old/mildew smell in our room although it was immaculately clean. There was also very small ants on the floor in our room. Understood that it's spring, but not something my wife and didn't like to experience. Service and staff was great and the proximity to everything was awesome!

We didn’t get our hotels.com VIP perk- a free bottle of wine, despite asking. It’s more pricy & high-end than where we usually stay, so it was a bit disappointing not to have that. It’s a very beautiful hotel, with a great jazz bar & excellent location for walking, but do ask about the price for parking before you go because it’s quite high.

Close to Bourbon Street and other bars and restaurants. The onsite bars are really good too. The hotel is quiet but there seemed to be a lot of construction and there were always laundry carts in the hallways so it was not easy to get to our room. The man who checked us in to the hotel was very helpful and gave us great recommendations.

Very nice European style hotel near Bourbon St

Very good place to stay. Half a block from Bourbon Street, yet quiet. Love that they actually have daily service to touch up your room and refill coffee supplies which is rare these days! Free bottled water and nicely updated bathroom-loved the shower! Nice courtyard to relax in. Didn’t try the breakfast, but it was a limited menu, like what you would find in European hotel. Do not fall for the 50% off drink at the bar on the street behind-the drinks are double the price of what most places are, the bar doesn’t open until 6;00, the music was too loud and the staff was not friendly with no table service. Overall highly recommend the hotel!

Hotel is charming and very centrally located. You can explore the French Quarter easily by foot. It's located off Bourbon Street and is suprisingly quiet although there were times when we heard street cleaners, garbage trucks, etc. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Beautiful property in the heart of the French quarter. The only downside is that it is a noisy area until 11:30 pm on a weeknight ( probably until 2:30 on weekends)

The hotel was in a good location to take in the french quarter activities. I was approached by the vendor to upgrade my stay prior to arriving and was suprised by a larger than expected bill as they charged the upgrade in USD when we had been dealing in CND. When I brought this up, the front desk did not seem to understand my issue. Also, do not upgrade. My upgrade really only got us an unusable balcony and a lot of noise. We would have been better off staying with our original booking.
