First room I was given, the door wouldn’t open. Had to go back downstairs, wait for someone else to come up and confirm it wouldn’t open, then finally get another room assigned. Got in this room, no shower curtain up. Something that looked like poo smeared on the ceiling in the bathroom. Next day when I returned to my room my key didn’t work. Other than that I guess it was fine, you get what you pay for. Oh the coffee was not good either. How do you mess up coffee in 2025.

I was in town for a very quick visit, Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Check in went well, the rooms were ok but a bit moldy/musty smelling to me. Could probably use a good airing out. The curtains were hanging from the rods a bit which I felt whoever cleaned the room prior to could have fixed that. Otherwise, it was fast and convenient walk up to Canal Street and all the other spots along that route. My only other issue was I had a friend who got back to the hotel before me and they gave her a key to the room, she was not on the reservation but perhaps they saw her with me and assumed it was fine. In this case it was fine but that was the only thing that gave me pause.

Front desk staff was amazing and friendly. Arrived very early and inquired about hotel holding luggage before check in. Front desk was super nice and did even better. She said they had room available and would just check us in so we could start enjoying our stay in New Orleans. She even consolidated separate consecutive bookings so we were all set for entire stay. Great location, close to Quarter for FQF.

It was clean but very much dated. Room and facilities look nothing like online photos. Rooms and baths were small. Bathrooms very outdated. Staff made up for it. Very courteous, helpful, and attentative to whatever you needed. Very walkable to canal street and good places to eat. The restaurant connected to hotel was awesome, great breakfast and service.

Our room was not clean and the staff acted like they hated their jobs. There were stains in the carpet and the bathroom tub. The air conditioning was so loud I woke up every time it turned on and you can’t turn it off. Breakfast was not convenient as well.

the hotel was nice and the staff was too , we were content with the room as well the only con i have is that the shower didn’t get hot and the water pressure was awful and there was leaks , but other than that i will definitely stay here again.

starting off with the piss soaked sheets after we checked in at 11:30 pm. they switched us to another room immediately which was fine. Also took off the $50 fee for the inconvenience. Also nice. Staff was great, but the hotel it self is old, dirty, water only got warm from the shower, and extremely weak water pressure too, shampoos, soap, etc, very poor quality. Location is great, but would not stay again for the price, if it was cheaper, you can kind of deal with it being a lower end hotel, but ehhh it’s an old outdated best western that needs serious work.
