The Margaritaville Resort was everything we imagined. When we first arrived my hubby and I were greeted by Miguel who was outstanding. He gave us two rum punches to welcome us as we waited for our room. It was a heavy check in and out day so we had to wait 2.5hrs to check in. We took this time to explore the resort and grab a bite to eat, The room was well worth the wait! We will be back next year!

Lake stayed here for 4 days/3 nights. liked the views I had in my apartment. I didnt like the dust, dirt, and sour smell in the halls. Carpet needs to be deep cleaned ASAP. All areas of my room need to be dusted and for the amount of money I spent parking and breakfast should have been included! I had to remind the front desk to make sure my car was out front several times because I had an early flight and they didnt do it! I called the night before amd morning of me checking out and almost missed my return flight back to the US! If I decide to return to this part of the bahamas I would probably stay somewhere else or do a cruise instead!

Everything was excellent until we got home and saw the credit card charges! They request a CC hold for any purchases you make using your “room number” well we got over charged for food/amenities we did not use. If it wasn’t for this I would have given it a 10/10

This property was average through and through. Nothing spectacular and nothing to complain about. Food was ok even the expensive restaurants. Wouldn’t do JWD again. Overpriced and food run of the mill. The waterpark was ok and the kids had fun. Hot tub was cold

Outside of the diner onsite, staff everywhere else within the resort were rude: the check in reception, the coffee shop, the people at the door. Loud music is everywhere. I contacted the hotel weeks before asking if we could check in early since we were arriving at noon. We had to wait till 3:30, with no attempt to get us in early or keep us updated. This place is a tourist trap. They charge you for extra toast! The pizza place is just plain aweful and will cost you a $100 for three people. Do not go to this resort! Matter of fact, I wouldn’t go to the Bahamas!!!

The resorts overall is not that bad. Be aware that cruise ships come here every dat and hotels sell day passes to thousands of people coming from the cruises. Everything is way to expensive, beach and pool are overcrouded, food is terrible and way to expensive. If you are looking for rest area andnicevacation, avoid at allcosts. Not worth it.

The good dining options onsite close early as do all local restaurants. Evening meals were a challenge.

Everything was great! Very friendly staff who took excellent care of the grounds and surrounding areas. My only complaint is the beds could be a bit more comfortable. They were not great to sleep on for five nights.
