The resort is great and service is amazing. Having said that, the resort should have welcome bottles of water and or cocktail and or snack. A refrigerator in the room with snacks, pop, juice and water would be helpful and or a coffee machine/coffee.

I liked that the property was right in the beach and the beach was well Maintained each day. The property is somewhat dated. It could use some overhaul in the upkeep like more staff to do the repairs. Our shower door had the waterproofing strip missing and flooded the bathroom every time we showered There was no bathroom fan to exhaust the moisture or odors. I think the food was ok but needs more attention to gluten free options and making it known there are options for the customers. No snacks late at night and no fridges in the room made it hard to be able to have non scheduled meals or snacks for ourselves. The safe in our room had no lock or lock face. They sent someone up to repair it but by then we were over it and just wanted to be alone. The restaurants on site were ok but needed more choice and updating in decor and lighting. And they weren’t available every night for choices. And this resort boasts no children under 14 but there were many kids there under that age during our stay And smoking on the beach of cigars and weed was not stopped or attended to. The bellmen were very nice and helpful. But when we arrived early for check in they told us we had to wait until three so we came back at four. Still no room available and then they tried to out us in a single bed when we had booked for two beds. It was fixed when I insisted they honor what we had booked. For an anniversary trip it was just ok.

The ocean view was anazing. This place can use heaters in the pool. No one used them too cold. Also live entertainment can be invested in and not the same every night. Food was delicious. Everythng including airport was close by. Overall relaxing and food was excellent. I travel around a lot and the staff could be more attentive for tourist enjoying the beach, something that was not so well here.

The food was very good and lots of variety. Drinks were good, with the exception they ran out of Kahlua, then were out for the remainderof our stay. The room and bedding was clean and comfortable. The hotel needs updated, if feels old and in need of maintenance. Some staff were very accommodating, while others were not. Located within a nice walk to a very nice hotel/casino, we, and other guests, visited this hotel often. Nice tennis and pickleball courts. We learned they no longer offer water sports such as kayaks, paddle boards, etc. We were unable to get a late check out, but we were able to use the changing rooms/showers after check out so we could continue to use the resort until our late flight out.

Some staff, Amazing. Fish hut near the pool was great Monday/Tuesday, the cooks knew how to cook. Cooks on Wednesday Horrible; gave us uncooked fried fish that my husband had to take back. Bar by the pool gets a line; 1 guy took care of us each time. The others werent helpful as they made him do everything, hence the lines. The property is VERY dated & staff are trying to make the best of it. We had to ask for an iron & needed tv fixed. They tried day 1,every channel was scrambled, came back the next day & took tv off the wall to realize they didnt have the coil for the plug to get the channels, which are limited. We couldnt use firestick. There's no heat in the room, so coming from the pool in February where the pool is freezing doesnt work, make sure your AC is off. The property needs an UPLIFT; paint, landscaping, better tall couches to lounge, decor, better bed, better wifi & cleaning. The property steps going to the pool near the smoking oasis need to be replaced, some of the wood panels is giving out as its slanted, so very unsafe, there is an elevator though. It was inexpensive, but depending on the amenities you like to have when you vacation, go somewhere else. The buffet was okay. The thai restaurant was eh. We made the best of it though games & the band. water pressure is good in bathroom, looks like there will be a leak as the cieling's opening. Walls thin, you hear everything in the hallway. If on a budget, ok. If you have it go to Baha Mar. I will next time
