A bit concerned upon arrival. We had booked the hotel as a comfort Inn only to arrive and find out it had changed names to tollgate Inn. We were not disappointed at all. Was glad to see returning staff, the cleanliness the friendliness of the staff. Hoping it stays the way it is so we can return for a visit again next year.

The hotel was in transition...we booked with Comfort Inn but when we arrived, it was no longer Comfort Inn but Tollgate Inn....we were never informed of this change!!! Management did not communicate at all!! Due to transition mechanical work was ongoing during our stay...working outside our room...finally had to change rooms because of water issues...then we spent a week with no air conditioning!! Which is extremely uncomfortable in southern Florida!! No fresh air at all in our room..finally had to ask maintenance to unlock our windows (no screens!) so we could get fresh air. Then the last week of our stay, they asked if we wanted to move again due to mechanical work outside our room. At this point, we were just done....we were there 3 weeks and it was miserable...and unacceptable!!

Our first impression was a bit off-putting as the Comfort Inn signage had been covered over so there was nothing visible to confirm that we were at the right place. When I asked the front desk clerk about it, he seemed to be annoyed by the question. That aside, our room was very clean and comfortable, the laundry facility was clean and convenient, and the breakfast was very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Not Comfort Inn

Difficult to locate this hotel as there were no signs. It was in transition from a Comfort Inn to Tollgate. The lobby was dark so it didn’t look like it was open. Drove around the building and noticed a few cars parked on the sides and back so took a chance and went back to the entrance and went in. Not the most comfortable feeling to experience.

Disappointing stay!

This Comfort Inn has been sold! Condition due to recent sale is lacking. In our room the phone did not initially work, the refrigerator froze bottled water placed in it do to freezer compartment door was missing, tv controller did not work properly, water control knob could not turn on by wife, it was very difficult even for me to pull on! The sad part is even though reported to front desk, no concern was reallt displayed. Most likely due to new owners direction???
