Quiet room and nicely decorated with comfortable furnishings. The hotel is just outside the center of town and back from the beach, but very walkable to both. Would happily stay here again

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hot food at breakfast cooked to order . Rooms clean and comfortable. Hotel in good position for town and seafront. Just a couple niggles: 1. When booking, the hotel advised by email that if parking needed I would need to book, so I replied to email asking for parking space but no reply. As it turned out there was no problem on arrival but would have appreciated a reply. 2. We had a room which was above the garage roller door . The door was quite noisy each time it was used.

Nice room, however the bathroom stank badly- like moldy plumbing- turns out it was the sink overflow drain. I'm amazed the cleaners hadn't noticed the small- it was bad. They quickly moved us to another room and all was well. Friendly staff, comfortable bed.

Everything was wonderful. We particularly enjoyed having drinks at the bar with Cho Cho as bartender. She was so friendly and gave us lots of local tips for things to do and see

Looks like a relatively new hotel, generally it’s business travel accomodation. Minimalist decor, wish we’d known there was no microwave in the room as we picked up some food to reheat before we checked in after seeing our room had a kitchen. Only had a kettle, coffee machine 2 cups and 2 spoons in the room, not a problem just wish we’d known.otherwise a good stay in a good location.

This is an amazing property. The rooms are the biggest we have had in NZ. The proximity to city centre is great. Walking distance to the beach,restaurants, and shopping. Breakfast was so good, so many different options.Best breakfast cookie. Great value,service.Awesome hotel.

The stay was lovely, the room was spacious however the extractor fan in the bathroom ran 24hrs. Parking was easy and the property was a walkable distance to the main part of town.

Clean nice room, great bed. It needs some plates and bowls as we bought breakfast and takeout. And shower hard to get to good temperature extremely hot, dangerous if you had kids. We really enjoyed the hotel was great for us.
