Location was 10/10 close to beach and walking distance into town. Friendly staff, room clean & tidy but dated furniture and decor. If you’re wanting prime location the Shoreline Motel has it.

Awesome view! Clean room with all the facilities incl spa bath & shower! Comfortable bed. Daily service. Staff were all friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic spacious room with huge hot tub in the room. Great sea views and a lovely balcony. Parking could be a bit tricky but no problem as plenty of free on street parking anyway.

Beach view was unobstructed. Kitchen could have bigger pots & more bigger dishes, especially for 6 bedded rooms. 1 important thing, please have lock on toilet & bathroom doors... we have kids & its kinda embarrassing for someone to walk while someone else is in the toilet Overall experience was great

Second time have stayed at Shoreline and will come and stay again when next in Napier. Had stayed in another beachfront Motel prior to Shoreline which was more expensive however Shoreline had a bigger outdoor balcony which you could comfortably sit on and chill out without feeling cramped in. Also the receptionist was super friendly.

What a beautiful place to stay! View right on the beach, easiest check in I’ve ever had! Room itself was super clean and tidy and so much space, it had everything I needed. Parking was super easy. 1000% recommend to stay and look forward to coming back.

When I checked in, I was a bit disappointed as I had really wanted a patio or balcony, and would have preferred not to be on the ground floor - particulary as I was travelling alone, I'm just always a little more comfortable when nobody outside can see in. I mentioned this at reception and straight away they found me a new room. They were really understanding, and went to some effort to make sure I was happy with the change. Both rooms were really clean, so big and absolutely what I wanted. The bed in first room (although I only sat on it) did feel quite a bit softer, the bed in the second room was great, a little firmer and so comfortable. The spa was, obviously, amazing! Could have spent hours in there! My only very small criticisms are that the blinds are a bit hard to open and close in some of the windows, and one had slats that I had to manually adjust, but that really is so minor! I wish I was staying for longer, and will definitely recommend it!

Mostly everyting about it was nice. The kitchenette was a bit too small thoughfor cooking. For us, a small airfryer would've been better than the electric frying pan. The receptionist was frienfly. 9/10
