A quiet functional hotel that is reasonably near the JR Morioka station and easy to navigate the walk from the station. The rooms are functional and reasonably priced. Of course, this means the intended audience is a business traveler and less so someone searching for 'more than comfortable' accommodations.

Older property but still is good condition. Very nice lobby area with lounge. 3 mins walk to Morioka Station. Located along the river. Very quiet and relaxing. The view of the mountains is amazing. Got to see the mountain covered in snow. Not much to do in Morioka but the scenery is well worth the visit. Recommend visiting the observation deck for views of the city. Located behind Morioka station (check google maps for exact location). Entry to the observation deck was free.
