The room was a little tight if you have decent amount of luggage. But it was quiet, close to the JR, the fish market, and had a nice lounge with lovely views. The washer/dryer in the room was very helpful for easy washing on long vacations.

Loved having an indoor & outdoor onsen inside the hotel on the top floor. Loved having a lounge on the 17th floor that overlooked the harbor. They changed the towels & pajamas & emptied the trash daily. Breakfast was at Hakodate Morning Market right outside the hotel. The ice cream place inside the hotel, next to the lobby is delicious-recommend. Close walk to Hakodate Station & restaurants. Had a mini fridge, microwave, kettle, humidifier & so convenient to have a washer/dryer in the room.

Hakodate was a very charming city and Tokyu Stay was very conveniently located with easy parking facilities. The staff were very accommodating and spoke perfect English. For breakfast they give you vouchers to 19 restaurants around the area, some located in the morning market which was a pleasant surprise. Delicious fresh foods, and great location. 10/10 recommend

Hotel is in 5 min walking distance to Hakodate Station and the Morning Market is just outside the hotel. Many sightseeing spots are in walking distance. The hotel is in a very good location. This is already the 3rd Tokyu Stay hotel, that I visited in Japan and in this one the rooms are a little bit bigger than in the other Toky Stay hotels. Staff is very friendly and helpful. If I would only compare it to hotels in that price range, I would have given 5 Stars, but since I also reviewed hotels way above this price range, it wouldn´t make sense. Never the less, I totally recommend this hotel.
