We booked the Radisson for a trip to Mall of America and Nickelodeon Universe with the kids and while it was clean enough and the service was decent enough, this hotel is pretty underwhelming. First the shuttle to the hotel was late picking us up from the airport although it was requested according to their instructions. When we checked in, the room was not completely clean from the last guests. It seemed like the housekeeping team was unaware of when the room was being cleaned for a new guest vs the same guest so some of the last guests items and trash were left in the room and there was a used soap bar next to the sink. On our second day they cleaned the room but again left some trash and didn’t leave any towels. We called down and requested more towels but never received them until we went down to the front desk to complain. The food in the restaurant is just ok, again underwhelming. The staff’s service was very matter of fact, not super helpful or accommodating but not rude either. The kids loved the pool (because they’re kids) but it was cold and there is no jacuzzi. Our whole stay was basic, not bad but not great.
