Checking was 4:00, I did not get in the room until after 5:00, which made me and my children late for dinner plans. Staff was helpful trying to speed things up, but didn’t help the fact the whole point of staying was to checking, clean up before our dinner plans. Beautiful hotel, but this was disappointing , and a bad welcome.

Nice room upgrade to a junior suite which was lovely. Room clean, bed comfortable, coffee shop served decent lattes, all in all a good very short overnight stay.

It's a 100 year old hotel that looks and smells like its 100 years old. Outdoor areas are lush and quaint. The rooms and main areas are tired, campy, and smell. They have caged birds in the entry way (poor things). The surrounding neighborhood is lovely but would avoid this hotel unless you can't smell or see well.
